Fluid art requires the artist let go of expectations, accept a certain lack of control and remain unattached to the outcome. As an artist my purpose is to work within a concept, to have an idea or inspiration in mind and to set an intention. As I work, I aim to add, subtract and guide the movement of paint and mediums to allow for an organic development. Much of the process is a chemical reaction or tension between the mediums used. This artistry requires many tools and techniques beyond a brush to develop, finesse and finalize the composition to its final form.
